Practising on an MTB

My cousin has entered us as a two man team for the All Night MTB Extravaganza, “Dusk Til’ Dawn”, which takes place on the night of 8th October. I have only ridden an MTB in anger on just one the occasion, so far!! As I only fell off twice, and had nothing to compare it to, it seemed a pleasing result.
Today, cuz and I met up for a practice ride around the Red and Black trails at Thetford. The weather was fine, we both stayed upright and though road riding is my thing, I have to say that I enjoyed this lark.
